Samuel Arnold Keane will lead a coastal foraging workshop exploring the culinary uniqueness of seaweeds, traditional recipes and uses, as well as new ways of incorporating seaweed into food.

The group will walk out with the tide as the shoreline reveals the different varieties available, finishing by the fire with tasters of seaweed-inspired food.

Samuel is a forager and multidisciplinary artist whose work focuses on the natural world, particularly our relationship with seaweed and the coast. His projects have included work with IMMA, Mermaid Arts Centre, Galway Theatre Festival and collaborations with chef Cúán Greene of Ómós.
